For the use of direction finding setup I am using the Reuter RSR200B as receiver and the antenna system consist of 4 KAZ antennas. Those antennas are located on two different mast and roughly 50 meters seperated. On each mast there are thus 2 antennas. One KAZ is pointing towards NA and one towards SA. They all have the same size. Roughly 16 meters high and a baseline of 30 meters. With only two antennas the system is able to measure the arriving azimuth angle with high accuracy along its broadside direction. The limitation of 2 antennas lies in its end-fire direction. (for me that is roughly N-S). For W-E direction the accuracy is better then 5 degrees. For N-S that could rise to roughly less then 10 degrees. This is well beyond my initial intention “to get a rough idea where the signal is comming from”.
